PADI Underwater Videographer Course. This is what it does for you.

You’re a keen underwater photographer and now you want to step up another gear. You’re ready to record your adventures on video to share with friends.

Video is an attractive way to share the sights, sounds, motion and dynamics of the underwater world. After the course you are capable to select, maintain, care and handling  underwater video equipment, making a short underwater movie with music, master the basics of post-production. You’ll cover fundamentals such as exposure, focus, story line and sequencing.

The course is designed to introduce student divers to the selection, use and care of underwater video equipment and the basic principles of underwater video production. These courses are PADI certified.

PADI Underwater Videographer Course. This is how you qualify.

To qualify for the Underwater Videographer Specialty course you must be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver who is at least 10 years old.

Because underwater photography is also popular with snorkelers, there is an option for avid snorkelers and skin divers to complete the course. Check with our center please.

PADI Underwater Videographer Course. This is what you will learn.

Through hands-on training during two scuba dives and guidance from our instructor, you will find out how to choose the right underwater camera system for you. You will get acquainted with the methodical PADI SEA (Shoot, Examine, Adjust) system for getting great photographs in a flash. You will learn the basic principles for good composition of underwater images.

Apart from your basic scuba equipment, you will need a digital underwater video camera and a computer or another device for downloading and viewing your images. Our instructor may suggest additional equipment and accessories. This will depend on your on your camera system. Please pass by at our dive center to gain sound advice about everything you need for your underwater videography tales.
